Scan Quality

Scans are made on a colour managed Hasselblad-Imacon Flextight CCD virtual drum scanner, calibrated for scanning transparencies using an IT8 transparency test target. My scans have appeared in leading UK architectural publications. Each high resolution scan is assessed individually and is made at the maximum true optical resolution offered by the scanner for the given film format, producing an unsharpened, high quality 16 bit digital master file.

Finished scans are burned to DVD/CD as RGB TIFF files at either 16 or 8 bit, with an Adobe 1998 colour profile embedded. A low res JPEG email proofing service can be arranged if required.
